As long as we are alive, we hope never to be perfected.
We flow. We change. We are more fluid than water.
Rushing thoughts, massive sensations, neurons always firing away
Even in rest, we are in the Present Tense until after death?
Stasis is a state, not to be desired.
Not now, not ever.
Stasis is a state that must be overcome.
It is not perfect or perfected or any tense other than tense.
Even in holding patterns there is movement
As the adenosine triphosphate moves messages to your muscles
‘Stay tense!” they say so the holding pattern will stay.
You feel stagnation, but the images are flowing
And movement is the law that must be obeyed.
I will not ever allow myself to be perfected,
Never lying to myself that I am in a preterite state.
No, this is undesirable and will never be.
